Erykah Badu: Hot Tress or Hot Mess?

See this picture? This is exactly what my ass looked like for atleast a month after I found out my ex-boyfriend was cheating on me. Just plain crazy and deranged. Heartbreak. That was my excuse. Now Erykah, what's yours boo boo? Who did it, girl? Who did it?! Please talk to mama!

First she's running around "buckit naked" in her new video and now this? I'm trying to focus on the hair... trying to make sense of it all... and... ummmm...quite frankly, I'm confused. Are those braids, locs, or twists? A combo of all three? Is that a weave? God forbid, a lacefront?!! Damn. Damn. I'm just at a lost. (**blank stares**)... On the other hand tho, a part of me kinda likes it just b/c I like her. You can always count on Ms. Badu to keep you on your toes creatively/artistically! So, what do you think?

Jada Pinkett's Mullet Wig: Hot Tress OR Hot Mess?

You may remember about a month or so ago when the ever-so-fab Jada Pinkett-Smith pulled a fast one and came out rockin this not-so-fab mullet wig. Like many of you, I was confused and rendered speechless. I mean... Jada... you... but... how... Just WHY JADA, WHY?????!!!!!!!!!!!!! Dayummm, girl! She's so perty and I keep trying to look past the wig or atleast pretend that she's not wearing what resembles a rabid dead animal on her head but it's just so not working. Now, I believe in taking fashion risks. It's ok to get a little crazy with it, but don't be deranged! Sorry Jada! You know I love you like a play cousin! But I'm gonna have to leave this to my fellow LLL readers to decide. What do you think?

Hey Ladies! I know you'll be happy to hear that R&B singer/heartthrob Lloyd just released the first single of his latest cd. His newest joint, titled "Girls Around The World", features Lloyd rocking a hot press that any girl could envy. Surprisingly, this has lead to a very heated debate concerning men and straight hair. Would you date a brotha who wore his hair long and straight? I'll admit, Lloyd does look somewhat handsome but... I don't know yawl! I mean, if my man has to borrow my Chi flat iron or my silk scarf to wrap his hair at night... WE MIGHT HAVE A PROBLEM! Lawd HAMmercy! Singer/songwriter Keri Hilson has been rockin this wig for a minute now! I am so confused by this! She is such a beautiful, talented girl! That's why I can't understand why she insists on wearing this old ate up mushroom joint! It looks like she stole Ms. Pearls wig from 227! Now I'm not going to front. I also have a wig that looks like I might have borrowed it from Ms. Pearl but I only wear that from time to time out of desperation, convenience, and/or sheer laziness (while I'm growing my hair out). Keri, you're suppose to be a STAR, girl! It's time to up your hair game, for real! I can't knock the girl for trying to do something different. But I just don't know about this one, yawl! You be the judge. Is she rockin hot tresses? Or is it just one hot funky mess?
