This weekend I was channel surfing and came across an episode of MTV's Super Sweet 16. The episode featured a girl named SKY from ATL who had a cute little Moulin Rouge themed party. Now usually I can't stomach that show for too long because it tends to be a little too ostentatious for my taste. But Sky's full, red, curly 'fro was just too cute to ignore! I was trying to figure out if it was "all hers" or not when I noticed what I like to call the "line of demarcation". You know, the section of a hair weave (usually in the front) where the real hair and fake hair meet. If the weave isn't blended properly, it makes it very obvious that you're wearing one. Now, my "weave-dar" (a.k.a. weave radar) is usually on point. But I'll admit, she almost caught me slipping on this one. Either way, weave or no weave, I love her unique style on the show (overlooking the extreme brattiness and temper tantrums, ofcourse). I think the bold color really suits her.

Being a natural hair wearing woman, I think I might watch that episode (re-run)...
...I can get some inspiration as well as a good laugh b/c that show always makes me laugh...
it was a nice hair weave...the way that I knew it was fake was bcuz when she was getting dressed for her party, she bent her head trying to poof up her hair, and you could obviously see the section that the hair stylist left out on the back with her real black hair..
