Today is Throwback Thursday, yawl! Every Thursday I'll be making a post celebrating the evolution of Black Hair. Our hair has come a loooooooooong way and I thought it would be fun from time to time to just say, "Oooooooh, remember when...?"
Today's feature is the beloved Jheri Curl. What I wanna know is... who the hell is Jheri? And why the hell did he lead us astray with this dreadful hairdo? Excuse me... I meant HairDON'T! Now don't front like you didn't rock the Jheri Curl. I'll admit, I had one in 2nd grade. I stayed wearing that plastic Jheri Curl bag and always made sure I used my activator and moisturizer faithfully! I was a hot fried greasy mess! Now if you will, let us all bow our heads and have a moment of silence for all those awful grease-stained couches and pillowcases!
