Step 1: Drape scarf over head. Gather loose ends of scarf and twist into a long "ponytail".
Step 2: From the base of the "twisted ponytail", begin wrapping it around in a bun (clockwise).
Step 3: Tuck end of scarf (or "twisted ponytail") under the back of the scarf (at nape of neck).
Step 4: ...And WALLAH! You've just successfully tied your silk scarf! Now go catch some ZZZZZZZZ's!
Thank you! Your description was easy and worked like a charm! Much appreciated!
ReplyDeleteNo prob! Glad I could help!

ReplyDeleteWhat kind of scarf is best to use for someone with a lot of hair. Where can i buy the scarf?
ReplyDeleteWhere can I buy a sarf for twisting like that? The scarves i have tried never cover all of my hair.
ReplyDelete@ Anonymous and miracle- the best scarf is 100% silk and atleast a yard or so of fabric. The key is wrapping/pinning the hair underneath so the scarf covers everything. I bought my scarf from an East Indian shop a long time ago. If you can't find silk, go with satin or fabric w/ a satiny smooth finish. Be careful b/c some fabrics actually dry out the hair. I personally only trust silk.
